About the store
I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Ukulele Count to 1-20 then 21-100 song or chant

Counting to 20 can get a bit monotonous for kiddos. Make it fun with your ukulele! This song encourages wiggles and movement while helping students learn to keep a beat. It's interactive with some jumping and thumping and you can use your ukulele as a drum during the counting parts. Chord charts for right and left handed players are on the page and suggested strumming patterns and there too. If you're learning to switch chords in a song, there are bolded fonts to cue you when to switch the chord

About the store

Experience

I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Teaching style

Teaching to the whole child by incorporating brain breaks, opportunities to get wiggles out, and using the ukulele and guitar in my teaching as much as I can. I've written a few songs that use similar simple tunes and chords that are easy to quickly pick up and use for classroom learning. Each song only uses 3-4 of the same chords.
