This is a reading/study guide for Tony Abbott's first book of the Underworlds series "The Battle Begins" from Scholastic Books.
Each chapter has an associated "workbook" page in this packet. Pages have different activities including matching, sequencing, cloze, true & false, visualizing, plus two follow-up activities for after the book is done (word search, whole-book sequencing).
Answer key included with sample answers.

This is a readers theater script originally written for 2nd graders, but could be used in 3rd or 4th as well. There are six parts, the 3 pigs, the wolf, a narrator, and a "man". Basic sound effects/stage directions are included should the performers wish to act it out as well.
Rather than having the narrator primarily descibe the end of the wolf, which happens so often, I made sure the piggy characters also told each other (an
A five page readers theater script based on the Gingerbread Man fairy tale, for 4 readers.
The gingerbread man speaks mainly in rhymes, while the other 3 readers take on the roles of the various people, animals, and narrators. Watch out for a couple of really corny puns that you might need to explain.
