I've been teaching 2nd grade since 2005 and I am still in the classroom! I love teaching and can't imagine having any other career. I have my Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading. I pride myself in the fact that I create products that I use in my own 2nd grade classroom. Addition Puzzles

Students: Lay out all of the white parts of the candy corn. Look through the orange and yellow pieces. Start adding them up to try to make the sums that are listed on the white pieces. For example: 10+14=24. You may find more than one set of addends that work, but you want to make sure you find matches for all of the pieces, so you may need to move some addends around to make it work.

Teaching style
I use a lot of workstations/centers in my classroom and try to make it a priority to have everything differentiated for my students. The materials that I post here on Teachers Pay Teachers are things that I actually use in my own classroom and have hands-on experience with.
