Student Driven Teaching

Please use this set of Parts of Speech task cards in your classroom for center work, carpet time or perhaps if you're using Daily 5, during Meet with Teacher time. I use this set as early finisher work for my kids to brush up on a skill. I could also see these used as a Bell Ringer as they can be given out individually. Enjoy! I just had to find a way to hold my kids and their parents accountable to homework submission so I put together this little slip that you can use to have students write out why they don't have their homework. I pull these out at conferences and have been surprised at how effective it is when it comes to bringing parents, students, and teachers all together on the same page. Try it!
