This packet is awesome! I love using it with my 7th graders and my college students. It talks about how to accurately use textual evidence. It includes information on asummary, paraphrasing, detail, how to use direct quotes, citing lines of poetry, and how to incorporate it in a paragraph.
This is a fun project where kids turn a short story into a movie. They rethink the story, make adaptations, create a movie poster, and can act parts out for extra credit. I have used it with 6-9 graders and they have loved it.
