About the store
Hi, I’m Amanda! I have 9 years of teaching experience across elementary, middle school, and high school, and I create engaging, classroom-ready resources that make learning creative and fun. My materials blend art, problem-solving, creative thinking, and critical thinking to inspire both teachers and students. When I first began teaching art, I remember feeling worried about how to encourage and inspire my students without a curriculum to guide me. Creating everything from scratch felt overwhelming and, at times, discouraging. Through experience, I’ve learned what students can handle, what they enjoy, and how creative skills can carry over into other subject areas.

Experience

Teaching style

Classrooms include a wide range of learners: from English language learners to students with diverse learning styles and special needs. I design my resources to be clear, accessible, and supportive, while still challenging students to grow. My lessons are presented in a step-by-step format with strong visual support and extend beyond art to include computer science, career exploration classes, and guidance counselor resources designed to support academic, career, and future planning. In addition to instructional resources, I also create classroom décor and slide presentations that make learning fun and engaging. My designs are trendy, functional, and easy to personalize to fit your own classroom.

My own education history

I grew up in Indiana and have a bachelor's degree in Interior Design Technology with a Minor in Art History. I later went back and got my Master's in Education. This is my 9th year of teaching Middle School and High School Art! I taught elementary art for 6 years, and I absolutely loved it! My teaching career has shifted in the last three years to focus more on Middle School and High School Art, Computer Science, Careers Exploration, and guiding our students to their future by being a Guidance Counselor.

Additional biographical information

When I’m not teaching or meeting with students about their futures, I love spending time with my husband and children: playing games, watching movies, and making memories together. I also enjoy designing, playing volleyball, traveling, and hanging out with my best friends and their families.
