About the store
I have been teaching Humanities and Social Sciences since 2006 across the UK, New Zealand and Australia, and currently serve as Head of Humanities at my College. My experience includes teaching in an autism-specific setting, which strengthened my commitment to inclusive, structured and accessible learning for all students. I design classroom resources grounded in evidence-based pedagogy, including the Teaching and Learning Cycle, explicit Literacy in Subject Areas (LiSA) strategies, and clearly defined learning intentions and success criteria. There is a strong focus on developing students’ ability to respond to directive verbs and improve disciplinary writing through modelling, scaffolding and structured practice. My resources are designed to be engaging, pedagogically robust, and immediately usable, regardless of a teacher’s level of subject expertise. They also incorporate opportunities to collect meaningful assessment data to support reporting, differentiation and informed planning. Teaching is my passion, and I am committed to creating lessons that are both highly engaging and firmly grounded in best-practice teaching and learning.
