I LOVE keeping an interactive notebook with my students, but I'm not a fan of running copies. I like using the pictures from the text that my school provides and integrating lots of art as well into my notebook. This set of task cards is intended to go along with learning about circuits and electromagnets. It includes a set of 6 cards that can be printed or projected and includes tasks such as building simple circuits, circuits with switches and multiple battery sources, and electromagnets.

This is a Christmas inspired STEM activity that teaches a bit about the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Students are asked to design a scaffolding tower that would be proportionate to the 75 by 45 foot tree. The materials used are toothpicks and clay and the entire activity can be completed in an hour time slot.

This includes 5 pages of 19 vocabulary words that should be covered when teaching "Energy". It is geared towards 5th graders, but can be used for many other grades too. When printed out, this item can be used for an adorable science themed word wall, or you could use it digitally to review these important terms with your students. You could also shrink it and have students glue into their interactive notebooks.
