Hi! I'm a current Special Education Teacher, and I'm here to empower students and educators alike. Growing up with learning differences gave me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges and victories that come with learning in one's own way.
My journey through Special Ed. inspired me to become the teacher I once needed—one who sees every student's potential and creates resources that are supportive, inclusive, and engaging. Every material I create is rooted in empathy, experience, and a passion for helping all learners feel confident and capable.

Teaching style
My teaching style is hands-on, compassionate, and tailored to meet students where they are. I believe in building trust first, then teaching. I break down complex skills into manageable steps, use visual and interactive supports, and always include opportunities for student choice and voice. My classroom (and my resources) are structured, predictable, and filled with encouragement—because I know from experience how powerful it is to feel seen, understood, and capable. I aim to create resources that support academic success and build confidence and independence in every learner.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Some of my proudest moments as an educator haven’t come with certificates—they’ve come from breakthroughs. Like the student who finally read a full paragraph out loud after weeks of trying, or the quiet child who found their voice through writing.
My own education history
As someone who received special education services growing up, I know firsthand the power of patient, passionate teaching. School wasn’t always easy, but the support I received helped me build the confidence to keep going—and eventually inspired me to give back. I earned my degree in Moderate Special Education at Grand Canyon University for my master's. This is where I focused on inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction. Every step of my educational path shaped the teacher I am today, one who believes in second chances, progress over perfection, and meeting every student with empathy.
Additional biographical information
Outside of teaching, I’m a lifelong learner, advocate, and encourager. I believe that every student, regardless of their abilities, deserves a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and celebrated. My struggles as a student helped me develop resilience, empathy, and creativity, which I now bring into my teaching every day. When I’m not lesson planning or creating resources, you’ll find me hiking or volunteering with the local animal shelter.
