Experience

I began my teaching career as a classroom teacher in inner city public schools. Since then I have been a school and district professional development lead, an adjunct professor, an author, a professional development provider, classroom coach and more.

Teaching style

The developmental needs of the little learners must come first, with technology as an enabling tool to help them learn and grow. I believe in active learning and scaffolded support for growth of the learners within a framework based on the goals of growing powerful learners with strong desires to learn while developing skills required to learn beyond the classroom and the school year.

My own education history

I earned a lifetime credential from UCLA in 1980 and a Master's Degree in Educational Computing from Pepperdine University in 1984. I have continued learning, studying and growing independently ever since.
