About the store

Experience

I have 5 years of middle school teaching experience in both General Education and Special Education classroom settings. I have taught grades 5-9 throughout those years, with most of my experience in 6th and 7th grade.

Teaching style

I like to provide various scaffolds and differentiated materials to my classes so that I can reach all of my learners during my instruction. I typically have a Do Now activity, followed by 10-15 minutes of direct instruction. I leave the remaining 20-25 minutes of my 45 minute period for group work and turn-and-talk activities, as I feel my students learn best in math when they get to practice.
