This board game will allow students to build their atom. They will be given a board with an element from the periodic table and the start of a bohr model. They will continue to collect and loose subatomic particles until they have the correct amount for their element. There are 3 different levels of atoms to support differentiation. These are color coded for teacher convenience. Its highly recommended that you laminate your game set for longevity of your game.

This product is intended to be use for 6th grade science vocabulary support. In this PDF you will find all the vocabulary with easy to read definitions and vocabulary practice questions with attached answer keys.

These are task cards with easy to cut atoms to help students understand how to balance chemical equations. Students will use the atoms to count out each type of element to verify if each equation is balanced or not. A great extension activity with these would be to then have student correct them. An Answer key is attached.

These Chemical Equation cards can be used to review and assess students ability to identify balanced chemical equations. They can be used in partners to encourage collaboration, in leveled groups with the A set and B set, or as a remediation tool for small group intervention. This is a great set for any chemistry class or most secondary science classes.

This power point covers waters unique properties including polarity, cohesion, adhesion, capillary action, density, and specific heat. You can also find its guided notes on my shop that also incudes an extension assignment.

This manipulative is to help student understand the energy transformations that happen all around us. This would be a great hands on activity for review, or small group reinforcement.
