Teaching style

I believe in the power of experience. I try to extend learning beyond the classroom as much as possible -- be that through connections to the real world, projects, speakers, or field experiences. When it comes to educational content, I try to make my materials authentic to the way the world works while also encouraging students to access their own backgrounds, latent talents, and creativity. I think the world is a fascinating place and I try to prove that point to students as much as possible.
