Experience

I have 13 years of experience working directly with students with the highest needs. 11 years as a Special Education Paraprofessional and 2 years as a Behavior Intervention Assistant at a Title 1 TK-6 school serving nearly 1,000 students. I run positive behavior support programs, facilitate social skills groups, and provide daily intervention for students with complex behavioral and emotional needs.

Teaching style

Relationships first, always. My approach is hands on, trauma informed and built around meeting kids where they are. I believe every child can succeed with the right support and the right tools.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My greatest awards are the breakthroughs I witness every day. Through systems like Check-In Check-Out (CICO), token boards, and social skills groups, I have watched students who once struggled to get through a single day learn to self-regulate, set goals, and take pride in their own progress. I am committed to creating resources that support ALL students-regardless of race, culture, background, family structure, or identity. Every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported. Seeing a child succeed who believed they couldn't, that's the only award that matters.

Currently pursuing a degree in Special Education. Returning college student bringing decades of real-world classroom experience alongside formal academic training.

I'm a Behavior Intervention Assistant at a Title 1 TK-6 school serving nearly 1,000 students. I work directly with the kids who need the most support by running positive behavior programs, facilitating social skills groups, and creating a safe space where struggling students can land. Everything I create comes from real daily experience, not theory. If it's in my store, it worked with real students in a real school.
