This project has a blank postcard template, blank sheet for the postcard picture titled "Welcome to America," a grading rubric, and a brainstorming sheet. This will be a perfect way to end an immigration story or unit, or in my case with the Treasures Reading Curriculum, after reading "My Diary from Here to There." This is a listing for two activities. The first is a simple conductors and insulators quiz including an answer key. The second is a collage project with the focus of electricity. Each year I have the students research a country and how they celebrate the holiday season. They will draw a poster on poster board, then paste their report on the back and present it to the class. This packet is all you will need to complete this project easily.

This is a 4-page test for students to practice concepts of science, electric circuits, and circuit drawing diagrams. Some of the test is visual and some encourages kids to use the process skill of circuit diagrams.

This listing is for a 20 page packet that is designed to boost the skills for kids to better understand expository text structure. Pages include worksheets, graphic organizers, pages to write each type of structure on, and key words used in each type. I used these pages to teach each type then had kids showcase one of their paragraphs on white paper and draw a picture. Great for introductory practice.

Here is my first quiz I give students when teaching the Electric Circuits Unit. There is a vocabulary page, circuit drawings, and determining if circuits can turn a bulb on or off. Answer key is provided. Concepts tested are battery, wire, circuits, charges, poles, and filament. I also included a blank circuit drawing sheet in case if you wanted to make an extra practice sheet or change the test.

This 8 page packet contains papers for kids to write their own folk tale and incorporate dialogue. There is a poster sheet for analyzing a folk tale that is read in class. It also contains a rubric for you to grade the folk tale written by your students.

This 18 page spelling packet will give you some fresh pages to use with your differentiated spelling program. There are some original activities such as print/cursive, abc order, and spelling sort... but also some fun pages such as snowflake spelling, raindrop words, and also hot cocoa marshmallow spelling! No fun cover page (sorry). Want to save a sheet on this one.

This is a good 20 point assessment that can be given after the first 7 lessons of the Land and Water Science Unit often taught in grade 4 or grade 5. This test is fill-in-the blank and multiple choice and covers topics including the water cycle, flowing and non-flowing water, and science materials.
