Each year I have the students research a country and how they celebrate the holiday season. They will draw a poster on poster board, then paste their report on the back and present it to the class. This packet is all you will need to complete this project easily.

This packet contains writing choices for the first unit in the Treasures Reading Curriculum. Each project contains a brief description, graphic organizers, and rubrics. This character sketch poster is for students in any grade who are learning about the reading skill of character analysis. Students will start to think of themselves as a character and words they can use to describe themselves. They will use those words to write on the poster and also link that to an example of why they chose each word. You can add a real picture in the box or have the student draw a self-portrait. When finished, you can add a paragraph writing component to this.
