This is a three page Word document containing 16 questions that require students to use the conversation heart candy as manipulatives. There are also 2 bonus questions. They include fractions, pictorial representations of fractions, all four operations, graphing, comparing, and money. I created it on a Word document so you could modify it to fit your needs. These questions were created for third grade, but could be modified to fit any grade level.

My students struggled with comparing fractions. I created a lesson around what my boys loved: wrestling. We gave each fraction a wrestler's name, and they wrestled. They loved it! After we taught the content, I then gave everyone a fraction to wear around their neck and they would "wrestle" (compare their fraction to someone else) to see who was the champion (greatest fraction) of the class!

This page has four columns of math problems: one column for each operation.

Can be used as an incentive for students to clean their desks.

This could be used as a reward for students who have a clean desk. I usually put a smarties candy with the card on their desk.
