Editable Interactive Notebook Divider

In lieu of a table of contents, I use dividers in my interactive notebooks. I list the sections in each unit on the divider for students to easily find topics, and I make a list of the upcoming vocabulary too. I print each unit on a different color, and I use cardstock for durability. Suggested directions are included in the file.

About the store

Experience

I consider myself well-versed in NYS Regents curriculum in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. I also have experience teaching students with special needs and teaching other math electives, including Calculus and Problem Solving.

Teaching style

I find that the more accountability I can develop within my students, the more they succeed. In my own classroom, I use a flipped model so that the majority of class time is student-led with questions and practice. I utilize a variety of activities to allow for differentiation and increased engagement, and I spend very little time lecturing.

My own education history

I graduated from Duquesne University in 2016 with dual degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I earned my Master's Degree from Canisius College in Differentiated Instruction.
