Super ELD

Each vocabulary card comes with the word, definition, sentence, synonym, antonym, part of speech, and image. I print and laminate these each unit for my students as a supplement to the lessons in Superkids. We use these to guide our practice throughout each ten day unit. I used this choice board after our students had read and studied the book No Summit out of Sight. This was a final project. I have an editable version of this, just ask for it!

I cut out, laminated, and hole-punched the top left corner of these cards. I then put these on a binder ring for my newcomer to use. I taught the student how to show their classroom teacher the card for which they needed.

Using the text Home of the Brave, students worked in groups after the mini-lesson to try making inferences with this passage. This could also work as an assessment or DOL at the end of the lesson.

Great to keep track of all of the books within the room/classroom library! I hang mine from a clipboard on the side of the book shelf.
