I have been teaching in secondary schools for about five years including the internship, a few of replacement positions, and full time positions. I love making lessons fun and easy! Students sometimes feel that Math is a stressful subject. When students feel bored, that makes me frustrating! That is why I'm creating teaching materials. Scavenger Hunt_Solving Quadratic Equations x^2 + bx + c = 0
Solving Quadratic Equations (x^2 + bx + c = 0) Scavenger Hunt was created for a 8th grade to algebra 1 math classroom for Quadratic Equations unit. It contains one scavenger hunt which has 20 problems to practice solving quadratic equations. Some problems will ask students to rewrite into standard form first, factor the equations, and solve.
This is also a good activity for observation. Teacher can help students 1 - 1 and students can check their work for themselves. The activity is done when
