Teaching style

I enjoy teaching with a hands-on, inquiry approach to engage the students in their learning. I also like to incorporate character development into my teaching to help my students become positive citizens in their community.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was voted Teacher of the Year by my students, their parents, and colleagues. I earned runner-up for Regional Teacher of the Year.

My own education history

I have my Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in education from The Ohio State University. I continued on to earn my Masters of Education in Middle Childhood (Math & Science) from The Ohio State University!
