About the store
ABOUT SUPPLEMENTAL SPEECHIE Home practice videos that parents actually use—no printing, no prep, just email the link. Created by a public school SLP with 25 years in the trenches. THE PROBLEM I SOLVE: Worksheets disappear into backpacks. Parents feel overwhelmed. Students don't practice at home. Progress stalls. And you're stuck creating materials instead of doing therapy. MY SOLUTION: Short "just press play" videos (3-4 min each) that you email to families. Kids watch. Parents don't complain. You get carryover without making one more worksheet. SLPs tell me these are the only home materials parents actually use—because kids think they're watching a "show," not doing homework. --- START WITH THESE (FREE): ✓ /F/ Sound Practice Videos (7 videos - initial position) ✓ /Sn/ Initial Position Sample Video ✓ "I Can Do It!" Weekly Practice Tracker ✓ Parent Handout: 20 Fun Speech Activities (no materials needed!) Scroll down to download ↓ --- HOW IT WORKS: 1. Download the PDF with video links 2. Email to parents (or add to Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.) 3. Child watches & practices at home (3-4 min/day) 4. You get carryover without extra work Each video includes: • Clear auditory model of target words • Built-in pauses for student repetition • Engaging visuals (not boring slides) • 20-30 trials per video --- WHO THESE ARE FOR: ✓ School-based SLPs drowning in paperwork ✓ Private practice SLPs who want better carryover ✓ Parents who want to help but don't know how ✓ Students who need daily repetitions to build motor patterns These videos support carryover AFTER the target is established in therapy—not a replacement for evaluation or direct services. --- NEW SOUNDS ADDED WEEKLY: I'm releasing video packs for /S/, /R/, /L/, /K/, /G/, /Sh/, /Ch/, /Th/, and blends across all word positions. Follow my store → you'll be first to know (and get launch discounts!). --- CREDENTIALS: MS, CCC-SLP (ASHA) | Licensed SLP (MA) | 25 years in public schools QUESTIONS? Teaching style

My approach is rooted in motor learning principles and evidence-based practice. I believe in: • High-frequency practice - Students need daily repetition to build new motor patterns for speech sounds • Simplicity for families - Home practice should be easy enough that it actually happens • Consistent carryover support - Bridging the gap between therapy room success and real-world generalization • Practical solutions for busy SLPs - Resources that save you time while improving student outcomes These videos reflect that philosophy: structured, repetitive practice delivered in a format families can use independently.

My own education history

Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Massachusetts

Additional biographical information

When I'm not creating speech therapy resources, I'm working with my amazing caseload of public school students in Massachusetts. I've been in the schools for 25 years and have seen just about every challenge that comes with providing effective, evidence-based therapy in a school setting. I started Supplemental Speechie because I wanted to share the solutions I've developed over the years - starting with these home practice videos that have transformed carryover for my students.
