This is the complete Kindergarten math curriculum. It can be used as enrichment for pre-school and for Introduction or Preview for the first month of Grade 1. In my experience this Pre-view is necessary as many children are confused by the Grade 1 Math text.

This is the fourth of four booklets based on the Kindergarten curriculum. The student finds shapes and traces them on everyday objects. This may be enrichment for younger children and fun review for older children. Because the intended students are non-readers, they need an adult to explain their observations to.

I have had a wide range of teaching experience from non-readers to first year university writing.
Teaching style
I start with the curriculum and then try to fill in the gaps as they come up. And they do come up. I invented my colour code for teaching grammar because my students were a) terrified of grammar and b)had forgotten everything that they might have learned. I found that students who were having difficulties in math had vision or hearing problems, or reading/writing problems. A lot of the mystery comes from not recognizing the kind of difficulty.

My own students credit me with teaching them grammar, or getting them through school, or helping them to get work.
My own education history
The best bit of advice that I received was this: The student takes three times the amount of time that the teacher does to complete a task/test. Always take your own test to find out a) how much time to allow for the student to write and b) how much space the student needs to complete the answer.
