Sue Surface shared this 2nd grade Houghton Mifflin story and just had to make the cake. Before you make/share it together, fill in the sequencing sheet so you what you're doing as a baker.

Additional biographical information
My own involvement in the visual arts emerged from a love of children's picture books I was using daily in my classroom. The combining of these personal interests has allowed me a wonderful connection with young learners who are natural artists themselves. It's a joy to be able to be with children in this way.
