Ever wondered what you can do with Google Calendar? Would you like to make sure you are using all the bells and whistles with your calendar? This handout is all you need to know about Google Calendar. Some of the information in this handout includes how to create a calendar, create new events, set reminders, invite others to events, and share your calendar with others. This could be used with students or with coworkers.

This file includes several class rewards. Each reward has a picture to go with it. I printed mine on card-stock, and laminated them. Adding a magnet to the back makes them easy to be used with your students. I normally have the students choose with reward they would like to be working towards and then we hang the magnet on the board as a reminder.

When using Accelerated Reading teachers use the STAR reading level to show students what range they should be reading within. Some students have trouble with understanding numbers to the tenth, so this cards help students with that. Circle the lowest level and the highest level in their range, and then highlight all numbers in between. Students take this card with them when they go to the library, and are able to see exactly which levels they can read.

Every year I add this document to my Open House packet. It gives me all of the information I need about my students. It includes all the information about where they live, who they live with, and allows them to let you know who they would prefer you contact first. My favorite part of this document is that the parents rank how they would like to be contacted. I was surprised to see the different answers. Many parents preferred different things.
