This is to help teachers that do not understand or have not been trained on how to help an academically struggling student. This reviews what a SBT is and what it does, RTi process, I.D.E.A. federal law, and this multi-year project that paves a way to success or I.E.P. for student. I also have a guide for parents.

This explains what the Lexile is for, the grade level and the Fountas and Pinnelli's letter signifies. This can be an explanation to staff, parents, and students-I added an assignment for 5th grade for the Reading Counts Quizzes. This gives some information with the Federal Laws about different work place environments. I have also added a school district policy, but please wherever you work-there is a policy for this (sometimes it takes some digging). This can be used for students also. Stop the violence!

Common Core Standards along with student and teacher technology Standards are included with this project plan. This has the documentation of student growth included, as well. In a nutshell, my students needed motivation for Fluency. I saw an ad for a digital photo frame, they were promoting that you could set the timer to show pictures on your frame. So I took photos of 18 passages, put the photos on my computer, downloaded them on a flashdrive and put the flashdrive in the digital frame. T

This is a 5th grade Matter Unit. The standards are from Florida Department of Education. The Unit addresses the Physical Standards of Matter-the states of matter, the properties of matter (chemical and physical), mixtures and solids, and atoms.
