This game requires children to complete sentences by choosing the correct verb. Children are focusing on subject and verb agreement. I did not want students relying on what word makes the most sense so I made sure there were two sentences that required the same verb (one with an s added and one without an s added). The noun and verb game sort is an excellent way to allow your students to practice identifying nouns and verbs. I have found that students can get nouns and verbs confused when they are not learning specifically about them.
