About the store
This is my 17th year as a severe needs teacher. I have opened a brand new high school, and started up a severe needs program in both a middle school and an elementary school . I have taught high school (7 years), middle school (4 years), and am currently teaching at an elementary school (6 years). I have loved each level, however I am finding working with the little ones is where my heart is right now.

This is a great practice worksheet for capital letter and period practice. The worksheets target beginning of a sentence capital letter and end of the sentence period. The worksheet gives handwriting lines to provide the necessary structure to neatly copy and make corrections.

This is a parent communication home to school, school to home form to help teachers communicate to parents what a child with special needs day looked like. This form was developed to maximize the information given to parents while decreasing the amount of time teachers and staff spent on describing the child's day.

Experience
This is my 17th year as a severe needs teacher. I have opened a brand new high school, and started up a severe needs program in both a middle school and an elementary school . I have taught high school (7 years), middle school (4 years), and am currently teaching at an elementary school (6 years). I have loved each level, however I am finding working with the little ones is where my heart is right now.
Teaching style
I believe that communication is the most important skill, without the ability to communicate, so much of what a person "knows" is lost. I also believe that once a week pullout therapy is not effective and must be reinforced everyday throughout the child's day in order for successful growth to occur. My teaching and lessons therefore must contain multiple levels of functions in order for me to ensure my students are meeting all their goals, in special ed and general ed.
