This is a counting mat that can be used in a couple of ways.
1. The teacher puts manipulatives on the mat and asks the student how many objects there are. The students drag each object down to cover a number (in order) and tells the teacher know how many there are.
2. The teachers asks the student to put __ number of objects in the circle. The student covers the numbers to reach the number of objects asked for and then puts them in the circle.
