Hi! I'm a writing coach with 17 combined years in the creative writing industry. My online writing academy, Write for Life, offers kids the guidance and confidence they need to pursue their writing and storytelling talents.

My goal is to call out and amplify the strengths in a child's writing and guide them to improvement in a loving, empowering way.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English then went on to earn my master's in creative writing in 2025.

I've worked as an associate editor for magazines, freelance journalist for newspapers, PR specialist at a publishing house, and contributor to lifestyle TV shows as a book reviewer. I now run an online reading and writing community called Talk Wordy to Me. In 2019, I started a parent-child journal called the Loom Journal with a couple of mom friends, then merged our company with Promptly Journals and worked as the chief product officer to create journals that help people better connect with themselves and the ones they love through writing. We sold the company in 2022. I have been a creative writing teacher both online and in my community, as well as a substitute teacher in my children's school district. I love helping kids recognize and develop the talents they possess, especially when it comes to writing!
