Geared for Georgia Desmos, this testing practice will help students master the features of Desmos to prepare for testing. Students will learn and practice the basic functions of Desmos including roots, exponents, and scientific notation. Use Desmos to solve 1-variable equations and inequalities. Graph linear functions, systems of equations, and find the equation of tables, points and scatterplots. Algebra also includes quadratic, exponential, and data analysis practice.
Students cut out and match the equation to the real world situation. Situations use the same numbers to prevent students from just matching numbers. Once equations are matched, students solve each equation and write their answers in complete sentences. This activity can be done in pairs or individually.
