About the store

Welcome! As a veteran elementary teacher, teaching since 2009, I have seen how hard everyone is working. I currently am teaching 4th grade math and science. My school district recently adopted Bluebonnet Learning Math. I use Bluebonnet curriculum in my own classroom, and have been creating resources that are aligned with Bluebonnet and TEKS. I strive to create resources that help myself and others implement Bluebonnet Math with fidelity, confidence, clarity, and a sprinkle of fun! Use these images to help students reflect with a 0-4 scale, on all aspects in the classroom. You can use these visuals to reflect on a specific problem, a lesson, their behavior etc. Get them into the habit of thinking about their own thinking, and what they need to do to move up to a 4 on the scale. This helps students recognize their strengths and areas of growth.

Teaching style

I strive to allow for creativity and collaboration. It is important for students to see struggles within our four walls and overcome them and reflect on how much they have learned and how truly wonderful they are.

My own education history

South Dakota State University - Early Childhood Education. Elementary Certification (Texas) ESL Certified GT Certified I have taught 2-5th grade starting in 2009. I took four years out of the classroom to coach math instruction; however, I have been back in the classroom as a math and science teacher since 2022 and am so happy to have returned to my happy place!
