Tatum's Teaching Tools

In this lesson, students learn about civilizations and the major characteristics that formed early communities. The lesson includes a warm-up, pair share, and direct instruction with a graphic organizer. Direct instruction could easily be modified into a gallery walk or stations activity as well! This was designed for a 10th grade class, but can be modified up or down as well.
