Based off the rules of the well-known games of Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, and Charty Party, this game helps students analyze graphs in a fun game. Unlike Charty Party and Cards Against Humanity, this game includes only student-relevant and child-appropriate topics (boogers, poop, puke, and farts are still allowed!) In each round, the judge grabs a graph card and places it for all players to see. Players then submit one Y-Axis card that they believe matches the graph. The judge dec
8 Google slides all about identifying functions. Bonus first slide helps students discover what makes a function a function. Then students use the CER (claim evidence reasoning) model to justify if a relation is a function. Students use set/mapping diagrams, graphs, and tables as evidence. Slides include sentence frames/starters great for EL students or students with IEP's. Could be used as a live lesson or assigned as homework. I used them as bellwork questions over the course of a couple of we

Students solve the problems in the bottom boxes, and color in the answers in the grid accordingly. Students won't know what the image is just by coloring the different numbers in with different colors, which encourages them to work through the problems.
This project guides students through a project exploring ramps at their school and if they meet the legal requirement of slope provided by the ADA. These slides go along with the worksheet which is a paid material, but could be used alone as well.
This quick form allows students to reflect on their behaviors and what came before. This helps teachers and admin understand students and help begin the conversation to restore the classroom peace. There are 4 reflection questions, plus 2 questions asking the student's first and last name for easy sorting. Originally created for a 9th grade classroom. Questions could be adjusted to be more easily understood by younger students. Your purchase will grant you immediate access to a PDF version. Plea
Student play in groups of 3-5. One student at a time holds up one of the vocabulary words on their forehead. The other group members give hints so that the student holding the card can guess what it says. This game develops and reviews statistics vocabulary. Recommend printing on cardstock so that you can't read the words through the paper.
Statistics project rubric. Throughout our statistics unit students completed small parts to the project, then I gave 50 minutes in class time for students to complete a poster summarizing their work. This is the 2 column rubric used.
