This is a comprehension guide to 13 different fictional prek-2nd grade leveled books. These all can also be found on Storyline Online if you do not have a hardcopy. It includes general questions to ask before, during and after reading that can be applied to any text. It also includes a before reading question, questions to ask after, a vocab word to discuss, and an activity to do at home- pertaining to each book below. This is the first step in Phonological Awareness: Words in a Sententence. This includes 4 different sentences and kinesthetic motions for kids to do while learning this skill!
These are letter cards that are Orton-Gillingham aligned. You can print on card stock, cut down the middle, put a hole punch in the top left corner and use a binder ring to keep them together. When teaching I say the letter, the picture, and the sound using a motion to represent the picture. Enjoy!
These are broken into strips with 10 words in each section all the way through 300. You can print them on cardstock, laminate, etc. You can also cut them into strips as your child or student progresses through a set of 10! There is a place to check off each word when they've mastered it. Enjoy!
These are a great way for students to learn to manipulate and blend sounds! There are two documents here- one with 3 sound boxes and one with 4. These are an Orton-Gillingham approach to blending and manipulating sounds.
