I am a kaiako and a proud māmā with experience teaching across a range of year levels and kaupapa. I created this space to share meaningful, high-quality resources designed to support tamariki learning, while honouring te ao Māori, creativity, and connection.

Teaching style

Ko taku āhua whakaako he mea whakatō i te mana o te ākonga, e poipoi ana i tō rātou tuakiri, tō rātou reo, me ō rātou hononga ki te ao Māori. Ka hāngai taku mahi ki ngā uara o te manaakitanga, te whanaungatanga, me te ako ngātahi, kia tupu ai te māia, te auahatanga, me te ngākau nui ki te ako. My teaching style centres on uplifting student voice and identity, nurturing their language, culture, and connection to te ao Māori. I am guided by values of care, relationships, and collaborative learning, creating a space where learners can grow in confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.
