This is a game I developed for my first graders to practice their numbers, 1-120. They had a blast playing it and would recommend it to any class that needs to review their numbers. I used this game as a whole group but it could easily be used in small group as well. There are 26 cards in total and also includes the calling numbers. Let's play... B-I-N-G-O!!! Hope you have fun!
This mat is perfect to demonstrate the making 10 strategy when adding three numbers. Each 10 frame is color coded to match the number in the equation. Use chips or coins to make the numbers within the 10 frame or laminate so you can use dry erase markers!
Students work as individuals or teams to solve the mystery of who ate the cookies in the cookie jar. They will also answer when and where the cookies were eaten.
Students will solve 3 digit math addition problems and mark off the clues as they go to determine the final answer.
There are 10 addition problems to solve. All problems are adding a 3 digit number with another 3 digit number.
MAKE PLAYING THE GAME EVEN MORE FUN BY INCORPORATING MYSTERY MUSIC AS STUDENTS SOLVE THE MATH PROBLEMS!!!
Students will sort the shapes to go with their correct name. They will cut out the shapes at the bottom and glue them where they belong. Great for independent work!
This flipchart consists of warm ups for the 5 day school week. Each day students will be given a different time, either hour or half hour, to display on the clock. There is also an extra slide for an alternate warm up, telling time to the half hour.
Students draw the hands on the clock to illustrate the time to the hour. This could be used as a warm up or follow up work to a lesson in math.
