Teach Create Play

Greeting cards with words and visuals to support a conscious discipline classroom. These can be used for children to select which greeting they would like from the teacher in the morning, or from their peers during the day.

This activity has been designed for children to record ways of being a good friend. Children can either draw or write ways of being a pal at lunch time, play time and in class. This could also be enlarged to A3 size and completed together as a whole class.This packet includes both a colour and black and white version.

This activity can be used for children to describe hot chocolate using their 5 senses, write a poem about hot chocolate, write a recipe or just enjoying making the craft. I completed this activity when learning about the seasons. We discussed Winter and how we like to drink hot drinks during colder months. We described hot chocolate using our 5 senses to link in with our English unit, and wrote these descriptions on the back of the cup.

This narrative planner could be used with grades 3-5. It is used for children to record and plan their ideas for writing, and includes reminders about vocabulary, grammar and structure.
