I completed this activity when learning about the seasons. We discussed Winter and how we like to drink hot drinks during colder months. We described hot chocolate using our 5 senses to link in with our English unit, and wrote these descriptions on the back of the cup.

Experience

I'm an Australian teacher currently teaching Year 2. I have previously taught Year 5, 4 and a Year 3/4 composite class.

Teaching style

I love creating worthwhile and engaging lessons that motivate my class. I love building a love for learning within my class. I do a lot of group work and differentiated instruction due to teaching a multi-age class and would love to share these resources with others. My aim is to create resources that offer multiple levels of questioning and scaffolding so they can be used in a wide variety of classroom settings.
