Teaching style
Midgley well known for her strong classroom management and the high expectations she maintains for her students and herself. Her style incorporates newer strategies and technologies while also maintaining core academic fundamentals. Midgley also believes there must be a balance between teacher-directed and student-directed activities and learning experiences. She strives to prepare students to be self-driven learners and responsible, successful students.

Hillary Midgley earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the spring of 2003.
She earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Cambridge College in the fall of 2007.
Hillary Midgley is state certified to teach K-8. She maintains the status of being highly qualified by her state to teach elementary, middle school social studies, and middle school mathematics.
Additional biographical information
Midgley spent her career teaching in the beautiful state of Alaska. She enjoys spending time volunteering for her community and spending time with her pups, reading, snow machining, and playing pickleball.
