My teaching style blends structure with creativity. I believe students learn best when they can see the why behind what they’re doing, so I focus on making math real, relevant, and reflective. I use a mix of spiral review, project-based learning, and financial literacy themes to help students apply concepts in meaningful ways.
Since I loop with students across multiple years, I build strong relationships that allow for consistent growth, deeper understanding, and a classroom culture based on trust, accountability, and independence. I love incorporating classroom economy systems to give students responsibility and connect math to real life.
In my classroom, students are encouraged to make mistakes, take ownership, and grow into confident, capable learners—all while having fun along the way.
