Students will love this Valentine's Day math activity! After being given some conversation hearts, students will sort the hearts by color. Then, they will tally the amount by color. Last, they will make a bar graph. There is also a mini half sheet where students answer a few questions about their results. Students will love this hands on counting and sorting apple seeds graph. Give each child half an apple. Have them pick out the seeds. Then they can glue the seeds and count how many they found in all. Then students can eat the apple! Kids will love this gummy bear counting graph activity! Give students a handful of gummy bears to sort and count by color. Once they are done sorting, they color in the number of bears on the graph for each color. When they are done they can eat the gummy bears! This is a great math activity that kids will love!
