Have your students model products with Tinkercad 3D design! Tinkercad is a free, cloud-based program that can be accessed from any computer with internet. Students will learn how to build the example shapes using tutorial videos and isometric drawings provided. After completion, students will be prepared to create their own parts, and download STL files for 3D printing. This is a teacher resource with seven ideas of projects to make with a 3d printer. I have included pictures of sample student projects, possible design variations, and a video for each project that explains where I use the project in my class and the desired student learning outcomes. This resource is non-specific to any design software or 3D printer brand.
