About the store
I graduated from Michigan State University and did a full year teaching internship in a second grade classroom. Shortly after my internship I was fortunate enough to land a job in a first grade classroom. I taught 1st grade for 9 years and then 1 year in middle school before staying home to take care of my son . During the summers, I did private tutoring along with a summer reading program. I also went abroad to Italy one summer, where I taught English in Italian English camps all over Italy. It was a blast!

Teaching style
I believe in hands-on, whole brain teaching while catering to each students' individual needs. I love building a positive rapport with my students so that they feel safe and secure in my classroom. I encourage the building of a positive growth mindset.
