Welcome to Teach2Tell! Hi there! I’m Laurane — teacher, curriculum creator, and lover of all things literacy, learning, and lively classrooms. Teaching style

Hands-on? Always. Evidence-based? Absolutely. Engaging and aesthetic? You bet. I design resources with the same approach I used in my classroom: ✔ less teacher talk, more student action ✔ clear, structured learning ✔ visuals and scaffolds that actually help ✔ activities that get kids thinking (and smiling!) If it doesn’t make teaching easier and learning stronger… it doesn’t make the cut.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Awards? Sure, I’ve received a few. But the real shining moments? The shy smile when a student finally “gets it.” The scribbled thank-you notes. The proud, “Miss, look what I did!” moments. Those little victories lit up my teacher heart — and they’re the reason I pour so much passion into every resource I design for you.

My own education history

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Literature Master of Education (M.Ed.) - Literacy Coach / Literacy Co-ordinator - Certificate of Proficiency in Information and System Management - Special Education Needs Certificate These experiences influence every resource I design—practical, structured, and rooted in real classroom experience.

Additional biographical information

Before teaching, I actually worked as an Airline Flight Attendant — which means I’m very skilled at staying calm, offering snacks, and handling turbulence (literal and classroom!). When I’m not teaching and creating resources, you’ll find me playing piano, hiking, or biking with family and friends. And of course, my furry crew is always nearby: Mercy (my super active Dobie and 4:30 am running buddy), and my two cuddly cats, Bouncy and Missy Boy. Life's a bustling adventure! Whether you're teaching in a busy classroom, tutoring, or supporting learners at home, I’m honored to be part of your journey.
