Open-ended quadratic function quiz includes the following: 1. Solving quadratic functions by the following methods: - factoring - quadratic formula - square root method -completing the square 2. Converting quadratic functions into different forms. 3. Identifying and comparing key features of quadratic functions in standard, vertex and factored forms.
This GOOGLE SLIDES activity is great for review for either your class’ quadratics unit or final exam. Consisting of four tasks with varying degrees of difficulty, this will differentiate the concept Of quadratic solutions for all learning levels. Task One: Match two quadratic functions with equivalent distance between zeros Task Two: List the positive and negative solutions for given functions Task Three: Solve quadratic functions by graphing, include a screen shot of digital graph of each funct
Students will find scale factors and missing sides with this GOOGLE SLIDES activity. The first three pages are multiple choice ( two finding the scale factor, one findging missing sides). The last two pages contain two open-ended items in which students must find the missing side and type in their answer.
Naming Key Features of Quadratic Functions from a graphmultiplying binomialsDetermining the form of a quadratic equation and evaluating for the y-interceptFunction notation Determining the number of solutions for a quadratic function based on the graph
Notes review the key features of quadratic functions. Three pages of the activity ask students to find key features of four functions. The final page is a drag and drop activity where students must find all features to match up the two functions that have a matching key feature!
Which of these is not like the other? Using fourty different equations ( two sets of ten and four sets of five), students will identify different key features for each set of equations to determine which equation has a key feature that does not match the others in the group. GREAT review for graphing OR for finding key features by hand.
Open-ended assessment with questions addressing the following: graphing logarithmic functions expanding, condensing and evaluating logarithmic functionsconverting from logarithmic to exponential and vice versasolving logarithmic functionsexponential application problems including compounding monthly interest rate
Help students review their basic trig ratios ( sine, cosine and tangent) with this helpful lesson and activity GOOGLE SLIDE file. Students will make a copy, drag and drop their answers or fill in blanks and then share it with you to be reviewed. GREAT FOR DISTANCE LEARNING!
This unit packet includes three days of warm ups/ exit tickets as well as notes, classwork and homework activities and review for general term vocabulary, translating from words to algebraic expressions and combining like terms. This document is meant to be printed for face to face instruction BUT I have also included a link in the document to an EDITABLE ( and very colorful =) document that your students can complete online and submit to you for review and grading.
This google sheets activity includes ten problems involving adding, subtracting and multiplying polynomials. When the correct answer choice is entered into the box provided for each problem, the box turns green.
