This is a sight word activity I put in my Word Work centers for Daily 5. I laminate the page and hot glue it onto a cookie sheet. Then children can place a sight word card on the "say it" portion. They "build it" with magnetic letters. Then they write it with a dry erase marker. This has been a great resource for my children. It makes them practice their sight words in three different ways. I read this book aloud, then place it in my classroom library. Children read this book to practice positional words. It's a great book for winter! Simply print, laminate, and bind the pages to create a book.

This is a letter I send home before the 100th day of school. This letter notifies parents/guardians of an activity they will need to do at home before the 100th day of school. Each child then brings in their collection of 100 things. We discuss our collections and display each one in the hallway. This PDF has blanks for you to fill in your grade level, date of 100th day, and your name.

Children practice counting to 100 by 10's using ice cream scoops. This can be used as a whole group, small group, partner, or independent activity. I like to put my students in partners. This activity is always a class favorite!

Dot Letters are a great assessment tool, literacy center, or homework assignment. This pack contains 3 different versions consisting of different letters on each. These can be used for letter recognition, letter naming, and letter sounds. You can use bingo dobbers if you're keeping them on paper. You can also laminate them or put them in clear dry-erase pockets and have children use dry-erase markers. I hope your students enjoy Dot Letters as much as mine!

These are my 100th day station posters and directions. I post these at each station in order to help the parent/volunteer understand the directions for that station.

I use these bookmarks during my Daily 5 reading time. It differentiates my students so that they are placed in different groups weekly when they receive/choose their bookmark. These also help to avoid the frustration that occurs when children have to choose where to go for center time. I recommend laminating these and having children mark off their station with a dry erase marker after completing it.

These bookmarks create your guided math groups. They each have a different order for children to go through their BUILD stations. I copy 4-6 of each bookmark, cut them out, laminate them, and put them in a small bucket for children to choose from. These sheets can be used to monitor children's fluency in letter naming, letter sounds, and nonsense words.

These are posters for your Daily 5 math stations. I use them to label my math stations as well as hang them on the wall. The picture helps children who may not know their letters or how to read words yet. **Be sure to also download my BUILD bookmarks for children to choose their math stations each day.

I send this home with students to practice at home. There are three goals at the end for parents to check off. If they can't check all three, then children can go back and practice again. They can also request more packets if necessary.

This is a 100th day activity I use with my students. It helps them practice writing numbers 1-100. I put this as a writing center for the 100th day and they love it!

I use this the week of Halloween. Children get a cup of candy corn. They must sort their candy corn on the graph. Then count how many of each they have in their graph. They record the numbers at the bottom of each section of the graph. This is a huge hit in my classroom!
