Hi,
My name is Audrey Whitfield, Miss Audrey, or Teacher Audrey. Many names by many different for many different child focused experiences. A little about me is that I have been working with kids for almost 10 years now. I began by interning and nannying 10 years ago with elementary age kids. Since then I have been an Art Teacher, Elementary School Teacher, and a Family/Teacher Interventionist. As a current teacher and interventionist my job requires me to create relationships with not only my kids in the classroom, but also their families.

Teaching style
Whole Teaching. This style incorporates all the different types of learning; Visual, Auditory, Written, Hands On, Independent, and Group.
Therapeutic Classroom: A classroom that is mindful of students emotional well-being and that may be in at risk situations at home.
Emergent Learning: Activities that are based around allowing the child to emerge into their own learning concepts through center based play.
