About the store
I am a dedicated high school educator with over 21 years of experience teaching grades 9–12 in both math and science, with a focus on special education. My teaching approach is fun, interactive, and student-centered, with a strong emphasis on differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of subjects and levels, including pre-algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, geometry, pre-calculus, and financial literacy, as well as biology, chemistry, and physics. My goal is always to make challenging content accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every student. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology with a minor in chemistry, a master’s degree in special education, and a PhD in urban education, leadership, and policy studies. These experiences shape my commitment to equity, inclusion, and high-quality instruction for all students. In addition to the classroom, I coach Unified Basketball at my high school and am actively involved in roller derby as both a player and a coach. These roles reflect my passion for teamwork, community, and empowering students both academically and personally. I create resources that are practical, adaptable, and designed with real classrooms in mind—especially for teachers supporting diverse learners in math and science.
