Eagle Scout. Also, a lover of a trees, someone who loves trees the way others adore horses or sunsets. They shelter, shade, and protect, and trees produce paper and oxygen (plus pencils, too) and all the books we read. They can ignite autumn with color and are strong and silent and will outlive us, and if you are teaching today, I hope a tree is nearby for you and your students to see.
