In this 8 week lesson students select ABC books to complete activities at home to help reinforce concepts taught in school. These topics include rhyming, theme, fact and opinion and Venn Diagrams. This is perfect for a kindergarten enrichment unit or a first grade culminating activity.

These cards are meant to be passed out amongst your math class. As students read the cards, the rest of the class must listen, and solve the problem to see if they hold the answer. If they do, they read the next question. This can be used to increased speed in problem solving by timing students to see if the time to get through the activity could be improved.

In this powerpoint, students are presented with multiple math situations where they can come up with multiple correct solutions while thinking about numbers. This includes place value, money, number sense and more.

In this 45 minute lesson, students discuss the qualities to be a member of a respectful community.
